Week one || Monday Motivation

Like most people, I have always found it hard to get going on a Monday, however, one thing that really helps me is planning out what I am going to do and achieve for the week of a Sunday night. It gets me excited for the week to come and also helps me keep my motivation for the rest of the week.

One thing I’m seriously looking forward to is a massive leg session tomorrow!

I got a bit slack towards the end of last year with training legs. I did of course still train them but I was more focusing on my glutes. I have now separated these into two different days which means I have had time to smash out some killer leg sessions so I thought I would share tomorrow’s session plan with you:

Monday Leg Session

5 sets x 10 Barbell Back Squats

3 sets x 10 Barbell Front Squats

3 sets x 10 Barbell Lunges (lunges are always a killer for me)

3 sets x 10 Standing Calf Raises

3 sets x 10 laying hamstring curls

And as a finisher – as many squat jumps as I can manage (generally, this isn’t very many!).
