So about 12 years ago, I was at my friends house and fell over on the paving and smashed my front teeth. My parents took me to the dentist and got them bonded, however, it definitely wasn’t the best job… I had little pieces chipping off and they moved slightly so they didn’t line up with my actual teeth.
At the end of April I went on my annual family trip to Queensland to see my grandparents. They live right on the beach in a tiny town, full of retirees, so I basically had the beach to myself and it was amazing.
Making up for lost time
I had a really good week of training this week so decided to have today off to relax and recover. I do my best not to have days off training as I always feel bad about it (especially seeing as I was too sick to train for the better part of this year so far), however, I think it was definitely needed. Sometimes I have to remind myself that resting is important too as it gives your body time to recover and ensures you don’t burn out.
Like most people, I have always found it hard to get going on a Monday, however, one thing that really helps me is planning out what I am going to do and achieve for the week of a Sunday night. It gets me excited for the week to come and also helps me keep my motivation for the rest of the week.
I haven’t been to the Easter show for over 5 years now so oh my god I was keen to go this year. I went with my sister last Thursday and we honestly had so much fun!
If you go, you have to be prepared to spend a bit of money but it is sooo worth it, especially if you haven’t been for a few years!
I was feeling like a Sweet Treat a couple of nights ago and I had come across a recipe for a Hot Cross Bun Pudding which looked amazinggggg and nice and simple (which is my kind of recipe). In the end it was absolutely delicious but VERY rich so you definitely need a dollop of cream on top!
I absolutely love Christmas, I just think it’s absolutely the best time of the year! I feel like everyone is automatically in a better mood (is that just me?) and enjoying time with family and friends and everything else that comes with it.
Now I’ll be honest, festivals aren’t my style, but it was on my list of things to do this year (you can check out my list here if you haven’t seen it already!). I’ve only ever been to two and one of those was yesterday. And whilst I may not love the festival scene, I do LOVEEEEEE getting dressed up (which lets be honest, is the real reason most people go) so I thought I would share with you my festival look and give you some inspo!
